Slate and tile roofer rates

Our competitive slate and tile roofer prices are charged in half-hour increments (1-hour min.). Products and materials are charged in addition to time on-site as needed.

Roofing Rates

  • From £42.75 + VAT on weekdays
  • From £56.25 + VAT on evenings and weekends
  • From £72.00 + VAT for late nights (9pm to 7am)

Duration Discounts

A discount to the half-hourly rate will be applied to your invoice if our roofer is on-site for extended hours:

  • Half day (4 hours & more) = 5% off
  • Full day (8 hours & more) = 10% off

Larger discounts are available for work estimated over multiple days.

Emergency Callouts

For emergency calls, there is no extra charge. We aim to have a roofer on-site within 1 hour of your booking.

Tile roof cleaning

Clean roofs aren’t just a matter of aesthetics; if moss growth on a tile roof is left unresolved, it can degrade the tiles’ surface. This makes them prone to absorbing water, making them heavier and causing excess moisture in loft spaces.

Care should be taken when cleaning tile roofs. Too much pressure or the wrong equipment can damage the tiles by delaminating their surface. Our tile roofers use specialist equipment to scrape moss off of tiles gently. Depending on the type of roof tile, different attachments are used.

Roof tile cleaner solutions that prevent moss from returning are also recommended. Please note that our tile roofers do not recommend pressure washing for tile roof cleaning.
