Our experts will always use the right fixings to hang your pictures and mirrors
Hanging Pictures & Mirrors
Hanging pictures, mirrors or other wall decorations is needed in almost every home or commercial property. However, unless you have the right tools and fixings available it’s a job that often gets left for another day.
Don’t leave your pictures and mirrors sitting around without hanging them. Book an Aspect handyman to hang as many pictures and mirrors as you have. While he’s there at your property he can do any other odd jobs you’ve been putting off too.

Rely on our experience
An Aspect tradesman will take the following steps whenever they’re picture hanging –
Laying dust sheets; minimise the amount of dust and debris created from drilling into walls
Electronic stud finder; detect pipework or electric cables behind a wall before drilling or nailing
Check wall fabric/material; determine the type of fixings needed to hang pictures in place
Plumb lines and levels; ensure that multiple pictures are completely vertical or horizontal
Prevent scuff marks when hanging pictures & mirrors
A tip from us
Scuff marks are frequently left on walls by picture frames, for example, if ever they need straightening.
There are a few different products available to buy that will prevent marking like this. The most common are felt pads, but rubber ‘bumper’ pads and foam pads are also widely available. Sticking any of these pads to the two bottom corners of a frame is usually enough to prevent marks as these are the only points that a picture will touch a wall – especially after they’ve been attached!
The added benefit of applying these pads when hanging pictures is that they allow air to circulate behind them. This can be important to help reduce the build-up of moisture.
