Protecting your office for painting

Every office-decorating job starts with preparing the area being painted. If they’re working during office hours, our painter decorators will plan to work in small sections at a time. This process helps to reduce disruption to your office operations.

Nowadays plastic sheeting is preferred to traditional cotton as it’s easy to lay, doesn’t let dust pass through to your floors and isn’t a trip hazard. Either adhesive or non-adhesive sheeting can be used depending on the number of office staff will be walking on that section while it’s being decorated.

Preparation time always includes masking electrical sockets, light switches, skirting etc. This process makes cutting-in significantly quicker and neater. Our painter decorators always use premium quality materials and can use a masking tape that’s most appropriate for the surface it’s being applied to.

Once finished, our tradesmen will take away all the materials they’ve used. All you’ll be left with is an office that’s been decorated to a professional standard, and is also clean and tidy. We know we’ve done a good job when customers tell us how happy they are with the work and that they hardly noticed our painter decorators had even been there.
