Drainage experts commonly use CCTV drain cameras to investigate a wide range of underground drainage issues. They can help locate blockages and known problems quickly. We charge a half-hourly rate starting at £47.25 + VAT (1-hour min.) for this type of work.

However, specific certification is strongly recommended for accuracy and validity when a detailed report of an entire drainage network is needed to share with third parties for regulatory or legal reasons.

Professionals with universally recognised certifications always carry out our fixed-price drain survey options. Call our team today and find out how we can help!

We provide a comprehensive drain repair service. Our experts can recommend the best solution if damaged pipes are found during a survey.

Unless a complete collapse is discovered, we can usually repair underground drainage pipes with patches that don’t need costly digging.

This video shows how our “no-dig” repairs provide a permanent solution.

Benefits of a drain survey

Detailed drain surveys can be used in several ways:

  • Building work – understanding the layout and water flow of a drainage network can be invaluable for building plans, e.g. property extensions. A survey allows the suitability and position of existing drains to be considered in advance.
  • Insurance claims – by providing your insurance provider with a detailed map of your drainage system, you can increase the likelihood of them accepting future claims due to flooding, subsidence, and other problems.
  • Buying a home – a drain survey will help reduce delays in the conveyancing process and reveal underlying issues before you exchange contracts.
  • Investigating issues – a CCTV camera survey is the quickest and easiest way to determine the cause and extent of drainage issues, e.g. blockages, cracks, misplaced joints and more.
  • Maintenance – early diagnosis of drainage issues could help prevent more extensive damage or blockages in the future.
