If your garden is prone to flooding or waterlogging, or rainwater flows close to your property, and you’re worried about water ingress and damp issues, our drainage experts can help. They’re happy sharing their knowledge and offering advice.

We like to make things easy! Clearing blockages and small repairs are usually done at a half hourly rate. You’ll be kept up-to-date with the work needed and be given different options to resolve a problem.

Bigger jobs, such as new installs, can be quoted at a fixed price following an initial investigation. A quote can usually be provided while our tradesperson is still on-site.

  • Came late at night, worked hard to deal with pipe blockage (and flood) in the flat but main blockage was further down i.e. responsibility of building manager - told us exactly what to say to the manager to get it sorted! Many thanks.

  • I had a blocked drain so requested an appointment, and the engineer was at my front door within the hour - extremely polite, friendly and professional, sorted the problem really quickly and recommended next steps in a clear (and non-condescending!) manner. Really happy with the service and will certainly use Aspect again for any other issues I have.

    Joe, Westminster, W1

  • Nasa from Aspect was a gift from the heavens to fix an emergency sewer situation in our block of flats. His expert and efficient assistance saved everyone a miserable weekend and considerable expense.

Who’s responsible for external drainage issues?

If a drainage problem is off the boundary of your property it should be the responsibility of your waste water company to carry out any repair work.

Likewise, if the repairs are needed on drainage pipes that are shared with other properties or residencies, your waste water company will be responsible for them. This is the case even if the repair work is needed within the boundary of your property.

Property owners are responsible for repairs to waste water services within the boundary of their property if they are not shared. Waste water services should be maintained to required standards. This includes undertaking repairs so that untreated waste water does not leak into the ground.
