Our blocked toilet services
We have tradespeople on call 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. They all carry specialist equipment such as water pressurised pumps and powerful electro-mechanical ‘sani-snakes’, which help them clear the most difficult of blockages in toilets and soil pipes.

Our drainage rates
We have two rates based on the type of drainage work required:
- Wastewater – this lower rate includes pipes connected to sinks, baths, showers, washing machines and dishwashers, also known as primary drainage.
- Soil Water – this higher rate is applied to “secondary” drainage work, including toilets and external pipes. Soil water rates also apply for CCTV and mini jetting in wastewater pipes.
Please note: If a wastewater booking requires work on soil water pipes, the higher rate will be charged from the point at which the work moves from wastewater to soil water.
Will flushing clear a blocked toilet?
A clogged or blocked toilet can happen as a result of either the build-up of multiple insoluble items that have been building up over a period of time, or even a large amount of material being flushed away at once, toilet paper for example.
If you flush a full cistern of water into a toilet that appears to be blocked you’re taking a risk that the weight of water will be enough to clear the blockage. This is often not the case and the toilet could easily overflow.
For most people, the prospect of trying to clear a blocked toilet isn’t a pleasant one. Even if you have a standard plunger and a pair of rubber gloves at hand, it assumes the blockage is within the trap of the toilet itself rather than further down the pipework or in the soil stack. Frequently, this is not the case. Fortunately our specialist drainage engineers are on call 24/7 to help.
