Youth employment campaigner backs Gove's 'exercise for punishment' proposal on Fri 7th March, 2014

Youth employment pioneer and businessman, Will Davies has today backed Education Secretary Michael Gove's controversial plans to introduce exercise as a punishment for children when they get up to no good.

"It sounds reasonable to me," says Mr Davies, who is the MD of property maintenance firm,, "If young people want to get a job, they need to learn to get up on their feet and spend less time on their iPhones - and doing exercise in any given situation, is the best way forward."

"In sectors such as construction and property maintenance, it is all about physical endurance, making sure that everything is done in a short space of time. The sooner today's young people will realise this, the easier it gets for them in the long haul."

"One day, parents will thank Michael Gove."
