aspect.co.uk warns homeowners not to get caught out this Christmas on Mon 19th December, 2011
ASPECT.CO.UK WARNS HOMEOWNERS NOT TO GET CAUGHT OUT THIS CHRISTMAS
• Leading property maintenance specialist sees a rush for boiler repairs during the cold snap
• 100 percent increase in emergency call outs, compared to last month
• Company keeps its rates at the same level in the run up to Christmas
November was a warm month, but it’s getting colder in the run up to Christmas and boilers across the country are working harder than ever.
This will be aspect.co.uk’s busiest week of the year, and already the company is beginning to see a rush for boiler maintenance work in preparation for the festive period. William Davies, managing director of the leading property maintenance business, comments:
“The temperatures in November were so mild, and – as a result – our boiler maintenance team spent most of their time on plumbing repairs. This was simply down to the fact that property owners just weren’t relying on their boilers as much.
“Now the cold snap has started, people are turning the heating on and firing up the boiler – boilers which have sat dormant for months. Inevitably, problems are occurring and this month we have seen a 100 percent increase in emergency call outs, compared to November. Our team is working at full capacity, around the clock. But we are trying to make sure that every customer is attended to as quickly as possible.”
Davies warns homeowners who may have any boiler concerns to book a call out as soon as possible, to avoid disappointment in the run up to the festive season. He adds:
“Unlike other companies, we don’t increase our rates in the lead up to Christmas just because we can. But, we’re warning homeowners not to leave work to the boiler until Christmas Eve; and not to pay over the odds for any service they receive.”
aspect.co.uk is a London-based 24-hour operation, 365 days of the year. So, homeowners left high and dry on Christmas Day can rest assured the company will do all it can to rescue the Turkey!
