aspect.co.uk joins the British Franchise Association on Fri 31st August, 2012
aspect.co.uk is delighted to announce that it has started its journey to full membership of the British Franchise Association (BFA), having been awarded provisional membership.
With the tagline ‘one call property care’, aspect.co.uk manages all maintenance issues, from the drains to the roof and everything in between, for domestic properties, bars, restaurants, offices and business parks. An award-winning business, the company offers a 24-hour call out service, 365 days per year.
Having built a strong business to become one of the market leaders within London, aspect.co.uk has a vision to be the UK’s leading national property maintenance and refurbishment operation – something the management team plans to achieve through the launch of its franchise operation.
Commenting on its bfa membership, Bev Regan, head of franchising at aspect.co.uk, said: “Laying the foundations of the franchise model is of key importance to us. This included becoming members of the bfa. To be accepted for provisional member status, aspect.co.uk has proved there is a core business that is successfully providing services to consumers. The franchise agreement is sound, and by joining the bfa the company has committed itself to develop the business in accordance with bfa industry standards. We will now work to develop our franchise systems and network to move towards associate and then full membership.
“We are keen to show potential partners that we take this seriously and that we meet the ethics of franchising. The membership isn’t just a rubber stamp; we benefit from lots of advice and information, and have the opportunity to network with other franchise affiliates.”
Brian Smart, director general of the bfa, added: “By joining the bfa as a provisional member, aspect.co.uk has undertaken to develop their franchise network from the outset in accordance with the bfa’s strict set of criteria relating to best practice, operational procedures and franchisee support. This is an important and welcome first step towards their long-term commitment to ethical franchising.”
